I've been looking for a Christmas flannel print for a nightgown. I've found a cute Hello Kitty one but I'm not sure if it's ok to use a print with a licensed character on something you intend to sell. There are a number of people selling things on etsy made from Hello Kitty prints but I don't want to take any chances.

Nancy I don't think there would be a problem here. After all when we purchase fabrics there is nothing saying we can only use it for our own personal use and not for resale. Could you imagine what a headache it would cause the fabric shops...Phew!
Mostly license/copyrite owners are worried about mass production, thereby doing them out of thousands of dollars. |

I would think that what ever you wanted to make from it would be fine and if they didn't want you to sell it that it would come with something stating that fact.
