Hi Everyone.

Well, no surprise about Coats & Clarks. Lately, the quality of thread is not the same. I purchased a spool of button and carpet thread for closing the seams of my teddy bear. The thread kept fraying and actually broke when tugging on the thread to close the ladder stitch. Well, after reading the label and seeing "made in Mexico" only explained why. I don't mind thread being imported (what is wrong with the good old USA?) but at least keep the manufacturing standards the same. And to see that #3 pearl cotton is being discontinued only adds to my dissapointment with this company. This is so sad. Thankfully, I have a supply of USA thread.

Mastex was my favorite thread and it is being discontinued. Not sure what I am going to use now.

Hey ! I've just received great news from Lisa @ Edinburgh ~ She states that Mastex is going to be available ~ only in a larger 1600 yd size ~ check Edinburgh for exact cost- She stated she will post in a weekly special. Yeah!!

I really don't like it when they change things, like ....new and improved !! It never is !!!!!
